SDN’s new structure was unveiled to the leaders of the organisation on the 16th August. More than 60 Centre Directors, Managers, Community Leaders and members of the Senior Leadership Team took part in a day of discussions, group work and relationship building at Head Office.

Attendees were presented with the new organisational chart. Ginie talked through how the new structure supports an integrated approach and everyone was provided the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.

The majority of staff commented that they felt pleased that the restructure was presented through this forum and were now more comfortable and informed about SDN’s integrated approach.

A focus of the day was the benefits the new structure will have for families and children. There was general agreement that the new structure will place SDN in a position to better help children that have been traditionally marginalised from mainstream early education.
