After applications close for a position, a selection committee is formed. This committee will meet to short-list applications based on the essential selection criteria.

At the time of interview applicants must provide the names and contact details of two professional referees who have previously supervised and worked directly with them.
5. Working with Children Check and pre-placement medical assessment
For preferred candidates applying for child related employment, we will need consent to conduct a Working with Children background check.
All candidates seeking employment with SDN Children’s Services will be required to complete a pre-placement medical (at the expense of SDN Children’s Services).
6. Offer of employment
The successful applicant will be notified verbally prior to a formal written offer of employment being sent.
