In addition, children in the two to five year olds’ space benefit from a magnificent musical program. Our staff a range of languages other than English including, Cantonese, Spanish, Portuguese, Gaelic (Irish), Greek, Macedonian, Russian and Ukrainian.
Our education and care programs
We are committed to ensuring that our local history and environment are valued, and arrange regular visits from community elders and Landcare.
Location
Twice a week the children visit our beautiful community garden, where a variety of plants are grown. These enriching interactions with the natural world nurture the children’s environmental awareness and understanding of environmentally sustainable practices.
SDN Pyrmont welcomes children from a wide variety of families. Over the years this has included some high-profile parents – master chefs, football stars, film producers, restaurateurs – as well as many unsung heroes. All have contributed to making our centre the fantastically dynamic and diverse community it is today.
