SDN’s child care centres and preschools offer additional help to children with high support needs. At SDN, your child will be welcome and nurtured and receive the individual support and care he or she needs.
SDN operates a range of early intervention and support services for children who are marginalised, children with disabilities, speech delays and behavioural challenges, including autism spectrum disorders. These programs are run by highly-qualified professionals, including specialist early childhood teachers, social workers, psychologists as well as inclusion and cultural support workers.
Part of SDN’s mission is to address the inequalities faced by children and we believe in breaking down the barriers to access to early education and care faced by traditionally marginalised children.
Our staff create inclusive environments for children that support their wellbeing and development. We welcome children of all abilities and backgrounds, including Aboriginal children and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
