Our Family Resource Worker

Katrina Heckendorf  is the Centre’s Family Resource Worker. She offers additional support for families facing challenges. Katrina can offer different kinds of help to suit your needs – eg you might need a one-on-one chat at the resource centre, help with filling forms or organising child care, or home visits.

If you’d like some extra support or assistance, or just need to have a chat:

  • Speak with one of the staff members at the centre and ask to make a time to speak with Katrina.
  • Katrina attends Stay & Play every Tuesday  and Thursday (during school term only). NB to attend Stay & Play you need to make a booking (see below).
  • You can also phone Katrina  or email.

Car parking

For your children’s safety, if you drive to the Resource Centre we ask that you park either in Cowper Street, or in the two-hour free car park on the corner of Cowper Street and Rowell Street. The Centre’s car park is needed for staff who come and go through the day.

To make it easier with young children, please feel free to drop larger items off at the door before parking your car.

Public transport

The Centre is a five-minute walk from Granville train station.
