PlayLinks is a supported playgroup program where staff will talk to you about your child’s abilities and needs, give you information and support, and provide opportunities for you to play with your child and learn how to help them through play. We work with families of children from birth-5 years that have additional needs, linking them with services that can help.
We can help plan services for your child, show you ways to help your child progress, and link you with others. At PlayLinks you will have the opportunity to work with professional staff in helping your child, but we also play together, sing together, have morning tea together, practice new skills, share ideas and information and make new friends. PlayLinks is staffed by a team of early childhood and allied health professionals.
To join playlinks you need to live in the Parramatta or Blacktown Local Government Areas.
PlayLinks is free and bookings are essential – if you’d like to visit, please phone us first. To find out more about PlayLinks, call the PlayLinks Coordinator on 02 9682 9100.
This program is funded by the NSW Department of Education and Communities through the Families NSW initative.
