10 Centre communications Keeping you in the loop You are encouraged to chat with your child’s educators daily to find out about your child’s day. SDN centres also provide sleep, meal, and nappy charts, which you can check at the end of each day. We also communicate with you through Storypark, which is a free app where photos and stories about the activities your child has been involved in get posted. You can receive notifications when a photo or story about your child is posted, and you can also invite family members or close friends to be able to see the posts about your child. You will also receive periodic e-newsletters from SDN, and a regular physical newsletter at your child’s centre. You can also arrange to meet with your child’s teacher or educator, or Centre Director to discuss any aspect of your child’s education and care. Feedback We welcome your feedback and encourage you to talk with our staff. You can also place a written note in the Feedback box which can be found in your centre’s foyer, or via our website in the About SDN section. We also conduct an annual family survey so that we can use your feedback to continually improve our services and inform our programs. Complaints management SDN is committed to the fair and effective resolution of any complaints you may have. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to discuss them with your Centre Director. For your further information, SDN has a Complaints Management Policy which can be found on our website or at your centre.
