“My goal is to establish a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where children can freely express themselves and reach their full potential.”

My qualifications and experience

I obtained a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (birth to 5) from TAFE NSW and have nearly a decade of experience in the sector.

I've held various positions including Room Leader, Educational Leader, and Assistant Director at other organisations prior to joining SDN as a Centre Director in 2024.

What I’m most passionate about in my role

I am passionate about fostering positive relationships with children, families, educators, and the community surrounding our centre, as well as supporting children’s emotional regulation. I value celebrating the diversity of different cultures and traditions and look forward to further exploring First Nations culture within our community.

Being fascinated by the innate curiosity and imagination of children, I also firmly believe that every child possesses the gift of creativity. Overall, my goal is to establish a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can freely express themselves and reach their full potential.

What I love about working with SDN

I love being part of a welcoming and supportive team at SDN Chippendale and as part of the wider SDN village. I see how SDN upholds a collaborative approach and know that I can reach out to people when needed. I also felt that the thorough induction and support provided by SDN when I joined, has set me up for success in my role.

A little bit more about me

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing badminton, singing, and exploring the outdoors. I can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and I know Key Word Sign.
