“I am passionate about fostering an inclusive environment that supports children’s creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity. I believe these skills are essential for children to address the global issues they will face in the future.”
My qualifications and experience
I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from Macquarie University, completed in 2024. I started at SDN in 2017 on a student placement, where I then became a Senior Educator. I took a short break and then returned to SDN Glebe in 2019.
I bring with me over ten years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, having started as a residential advisor for high school students at an international school and then teaching art in primary school, which eventually led me to Early Childhood Education.
What I'm most passionate about in my role
I am passionate about fostering an inclusive environment that supports children’s creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity. I believe these skills are essential for children to address the global issues they will face in the future. I love supporting my team to create purposeful, play-based experiences that spark joy and encourage children to explore the world around them.
What I love about working with SDN
I love SDN’s values and how they advocate for the child’s voice and their rights, holding us to high standards. I enjoy working with a team that shares a deep commitment to quality education and care. I value the collaborative culture at SDN and the opportunity to grow alongside passionate professionals who put children at the heart of everything they do.
A little bit more about me
My two young daughters keep me busy during my spare time; we like to go swimming or visit parks with our very active dog. We travelled a lot when I was growing up, and I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries and live in Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, and the UAE.
