"I aspire and work to cultivate the most nurturing environment at the centre where every child can thrive and have the best start to their lives."

My qualifications and experience

I have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE, Western Sydney. I also have a postgraduate in Environment and Development from overseas.

I joined SDN Mosman in the beginning of 2019 as a Room Leader in the Toddlers Room and continued working in the same role for 4.5 years. After a short break, I took the opportunity to return to SDN Mosman as Centre Director from 2024.

What I'm most passionate about in my role

As an early childhood professional, it has been eye opening how integral the support of passionate educators is for children's wellbeing, learning and development. I aspire and work to cultivate the most nurturing environment at the centre where every child can thrive and have the best start to their lives. Having studied early childhood education and since taking on my passions working in early learning, I wish I had such knowledge when I was raising my three daughters.

What I love about working with SDN

There are challenges that come with creating an ideal learning environment for children. However, SDN’s clear vision of an “equitable world where all children thrive” makes my work more meaningful. I take home SDN’s philosophy that children are the centre of everything we do! This message aligns with my personal philosophy and my passion for early childhood education.

At my centre I also really value my team of enthusiastic and dedicated educators who are as passionate as me! Our wonderful team have built such pure connections with the children and their loving families, and it is this very community which I love at SDN Mosman.

A little bit more about me

I speak Hindi and Manipuri, my native language which is one of the dialects of the Indian languages.

As a full-time working mother and as a part-time student, it is difficult to find time for myself. However, when I can, I find myself picking up books, primarily in the genre of memoirs and biographies.

I also enjoy a game of badminton as well as table tennis with my husband on the weekends, as well as baking and cooking for my family.
