“I am deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that fosters each child's growth. I am driven by the belief that, with the right guidance, children can achieve their unique full potential – emotionally, socially, and intellectually.”

My qualifications and experience

I completed my Master of Teaching (0-8) from Western Sydney University in 2010.

I have been working in Early Childhood for twelve years, primarily as an Early Childhood Teacher/Educational Leader at various centres, and joined SDN as a Centre Director in 2025. I was also a primary teacher for three years in several public schools in Sydney, teaching classes from Kindergarten to Year 2.

What I’m most passionate about in my role

I firmly believe in the profound impact of Early Childhood Education, which begins even before birth. The experiences children have during their early years lay the foundation for lifelong learning and development. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that fosters each child's growth. I am driven by the belief that, with the right guidance, children can achieve their unique full potential – emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

What I love about working with SDN

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside an incredibly skilled team at SDN Riverwood who have built a strong connection with the families and the community over the years, where we will continue supporting families and promoting children's development together.

A little bit more about me

I am an Australian of Turkish heritage, and inclusivity and diversity are central to both my personal and professional life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family – my daughter, who is a high school teacher, my two sons who are engineers, and my two grandsons. We share a love for travelling, exploring new places, and spending quality time together.

I also have a furry companion, Minnosh the cat, who is also part of my family.
