33 The pattern of support offered to children and families has shifted slightly over the past few years with the introduction of the NDIS. Some services that we were previously funded to provide are not funded by the NDIS, however we have been able to introduce other services. In our 2016–18 strategic plan we set targets specifically to track the inclusion of priority children in our mainstream early childhood education and care centres. As at 30 June 2018, our progress against our targets was as follows: SDN works with children and families across three main streams: our early childhood education and child care services, disability services for children, and family support. In 2017–18, we also began to offer professional learning workshops, particularly showcasing the skills and knowledge of our team based at SDN Beranga, our centre for children with autism spectrum disorder. For families In 2017–18, 784 families facing challenges were strengthened through our playgroups, family programs and our Brighter Futures programs. How much did we do?
