Our educational programs are informed by the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and children aged three to five in our centres are taught by university-qualified teachers.

Our preschool program will help your child to develop the social, emotional and cognitive skills they will need to give them the best start at school, with a focus on helping them to develop their self-confidence, independence and resilience.

Our preschool program will help your child to learn, develop and build positive relationships with others by giving them opportunities to participate in learning experiences that reflect their strengths, capabilities, culture, interests and current skills and knowledge.

Our preschool curriculum content includes (but is not limited to):
• language, literacy and numeracy
• the creative arts and culture
• science and technology
• technical and motor skills, construction and design
• physical and emotional health and wellbeing
• relationships and social competence
• equity, and social justice
• connecting to the natural world
• sensory exploration and physical movement
• critical thinking, investigating and problem solving
• socio-dramatic play.

Transition to school

Your child’s teachers will partner with you and our local schools’ teachers and principals to tailor a smooth transition to school program for your child to help ensure that they have a positive start at school. This can help set your child on a path for ongoing engagement at school and future academic and social success. Our transition to school program will help your child to become familiar with what happens at big school and we will help equip them with the skills they need to succeed in the ‘big school’ environment. We also provide families with information and support to help you assist your child with the move to primary school.
